Lynn Power

Founder

Conscious Beauty Collective

With 30 years of experience in marketing and advertising, Lynn Power started the Conscious Beauty Collective (CBC) in 2022 while going through chemotherapy for breast cancer. A traveling pop-up for indie beauty and wellness brands, CBC is designed to leverage retail spaces as a launching pad for co-marketing and to drive collaboration between retailers and brands.

Lynn launched CBC to give smaller clean beauty brands a way to support each other and generate sales. The CBC operates as a true collective, with 30+ brands pitching in to share expenses and provide in-store services such as giveaways, facials and sampling. The team stood up its first pop-up in three months at Stonestown Galleria in San Francisco, and then went on to host pop-ups in Boston, Palm Springs, Calif. and other cities. CBC has grown organically over the past few years, achieving:

  • More than 10,000 customer emails acquired;
  • A 25% increase in organic social following ;
  • A Beauty Matter’s NEXT Awards finalist for Best Pop-up; and
  • More than $100,000 in sales generated for indie brands.

In addition to her work with CBC, Lynn also is the acting CEO and Co-founder of premium haircare brand Masami.
