Currently serving as SVP of Retail Media for Albertsons Companies, Kristi Argyilan is a clear trailblazer in the grocery category for her work in shaping the emergence and evolution of retail media.  

In 2022, Kristi led the launch of Albertsons Companies’ retail media network, Albertsons Media Collective, which taps Albertsons’ AdTech platforms, its base of 35 million weekly customers and powerful first-party data to help brand partners reach and resonate with shoppers. And over the past two years, she has fostered tremendous internal and external breakthroughs, including:  

  • Forming strategic partnerships to advance Albertsons Media Collective’s targeting, engagement and measurement capabilities;  
  • Working with industry partners like Pinterest and LiveRamp to create a privacy-conscious third-party space for brands to better connect their first-party data and customer engagement through a clean room prototype and incrementality measurement; and 
  • Collaborating with other RMNs, clients and publishers to develop a white paper outlining a standardization framework that was submitted to the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) to put the suggested framework into action. 

Kristi recently was granted a three-year board seat for the IAB so she can continue to lead standardization change and help spearhead important industry solutions. In 2023, she was appointed to the Adweek 50 and named a Woman of Excellence by the Path to Purchase Institute.
