Jill Pavlovich has played a pivotal role in advancing the omnichannel grocery shopping experience. Overseeing a 184-person team, she is responsible for powering Albertsons’ multi-billion-dollar ecommerce grocery business and engaging digitally with millions of in-store shoppers.
One of Jill’s most critical contributions was creating a strategic operating framework, coined “Connected Experiences,” that drove the introduction of several valuable initiatives, including:
- Shoppable Recipes, a patent-pending feature that gives consumers access to more than 8,000 exclusive, budget-friendly recipes and integrates seamlessly into the shopping experience;
- A Budget Mode feature that empowers consumers to find the best deals and most cost-effective products for their recipes and weekly needs;
- A Quick Add feature that scans a customer’s in-store and online purchase history to understand the frequency and timing of their purchases, then recommends a tailored list of items to add to cart or list with one tap;
- Store Mode, which automatically recognizes a customer’s presence in more than 2,000 stores and switches to become a digital assistant to help them shop; and
- Flash Delivery and Flash Pickup, which allows customers to get items as quickly and efficiently as possible.
