Following an inspiring 30-year career in corporate retail with brands including Saks Fifth Avenue and Dillard’s, Harry took a research and development opportunity at Vera Bradley and created an entirely new way of shopping.
With goodMRKT, consumers have a dedicated space to not just shop with their eyes but with their heart. It is a community of purpose-driven brands, coming together to offer a new shopping experience to customers looking to give back with their purchases. Tapping into his experience with some of the world’s most creative people, Harry was able to create an entirely new brand while staying true to the original mission of reinventing how people shop in stores.
goodMRKT began as a concept store and innovation hub for Vera Bradley, but the concept quickly evolved following the initial spring 2021 launch to include an ecommerce site, podcast and pop-up store in New York City’s SoHo. With just 30 brand partners at its opening, goodMRKT’s extensive press in the retail industry and resonance among consumers has resulted in the addition of 40 more brands and additional locations in the works. Now featuring more than 75 brands and anchored by goodCAFÉ, the goodMRKT space has become the center for learning, community events and an inspiring location for shopping.
Harry initially served as Chief Brand Officer for goodMRKT while also serving as VP of Retail Brand Experience at Vera Bradley. However, following Vera Bradley’s sale of goodMRKT to Harry, he is now focused on managing and growing the concept full-time.
