Michael Buchalter

Sr. Client Director

SGK

Michael has influenced some of the world’s most desired brands. Drawing from his deep experience as both a global agency partner at SGK as well as brand marketing leader at Adidas, he brings a creative, solution-oriented and supportive approach to his teams to not only inspire but drive results.

As a brand marketer at Adidas, he led consumer behavior data integration into the brand’s wholesale workstreams in order to move to data-driven decision-making. He also led the development and execution of Adidas’ Reverse Retro 2.0 Jersey Campaign in partnership with the NHL, all 32 teams and Dick’s Sporting Goods, as well as the brand’s Mighty Ducks 30th Anniversary in partnership with Disney, among others.

Now, on the agency side, he is a subject matter expert who supports multiple brands as they bring new products to market via omnichannel marketing plans, including: Apple, Asics, Lululemon, Puma, On, Meta, Google, Tesla, Starbucks and Coca-Cola. He also is incredibly active with local communities: Michael is a volunteer youth sports coach, supports internships and networking among the University of Oregon Alumni, and is a board member for the Public School Foundation.

“I love the way we have set up our Brand Experience agency and are empowered by our leadership to use our common sense and do what is right for our clients and consumers. Our favorite times are when our clients come to us with a new challenge, and we have the autonomy to do what is needed to be both set up for success and deliver an exceptional consumer experience.”
