Kris is a significant leader and key contributor to Tractor Supply’s strategic growth and financial performance. With a tenure of nine years and as the retailer’s finance leader, he is crucial to every business decision and serves as a trusted advisor to lead change.

Kris is passionate about using technology to rethink processes and drive insights that improve business results. During his tenure, Tractor Supply has become one of the fastest-growing retailers of the last decade, growing from 1,500 stores and $6.2 billion in revenue in 2015, to 2,200 stores and $14.6 billion in revenue in 2023. Kris has navigated this time with superior financial acumen, ensuring Tractor Supply is well-positioned to handle both growth and mitigate risk.

At the age of 33, Kris became the company’s youngest officer (at that time) as VP, Controller and Assistant Corporate Secretary. He went on to build the finance team from 15 financial professionals to a team of 35 financial experts supporting the organization. He was then added to the executive strategy team in 2021 at the age of 36, making him the youngest member and only functional VP. Additionally, he contributed to the due diligence process and financial integration for Tractor Supply’s acquisition of Petsense and Orscheln Farm and Home.

Kris is a passionate mentor and guest speaker in classes and on panels for organizations including Lipscomb University and Financial Executives International. He also is an active member of the Tractor Supply Young Professionals Team Member Engagement Group and serves on the Board of Directors of the Tractor Supply Company Foundation.
