With more than 15 years of experience in the design industry, the last decade of Rees’ career ascent has taken him from London to Mumbai to New York, all with Landor & Fitch. Doubtless his globetrotting helped him to be resourceful in his approach, while also giving him a fresh perspective on the best way to tackle a problem and deliver innovative work. Clients know that Rees’ creativity and drive for perfection combine with a thoughtful approach to make their designs the best they can be. At the office, Rees is also known for his ability to spot and connect with the design industry’s emerging talent, which translates into mentoring junior designers and empowering them to succeed. Some recent projects include Hilton’s LGBTQ+ campaign, the Walmart+ retail launch and Dell retail activations. Rees also partnered with Macerich on its BrandBox concept, where he led the team that developed the new identity and brought the concept to life online and in-store, challenging previous conventions about brand and store creation.
