Lauren Bayton

Director, Creative Presentation, Global Brand Image

Ralph Lauren

Around the office, Bayton is known for her innovation and work ethic in keeping the heritage brand current. Formerly in the visual merchandising department of Ralph Lauren’s wholesale area, Bayton was recently promoted to the company’s Global Brand Image team to focus on special projects in the company’s broader retail efforts. One recent success was Ralph Lauren’s annual #RLWinterWonderland activation at Bloomingdale’s 59th Street flagship in New York. Bayton helped create the “Polar Ice Lounge,” an immersive in-shop experience made with more than 3,000 pounds of ice where customers tried on Ralph Lauren outerwear while they sipped hot apple cider. Since joining the Global Brand Image team, Bayton has expanded her skill set by learning AutoCAD, SketchUp and V-Ray to further her ability to implement her creative vision.

PROUDEST ACHIEVEMENT OF THE PAST YEAR

Joining the Global Brand Image team with a focus on Special Projects this year was a dream come true. I sought to add new techniques and skills to better articulate creative vision and innovative storytelling.

A PIECE OF MEDIA THAT INSPIRED ME RECENTLY

At Ralph Lauren, we’ve been hosting a podcast-like forum called “Speaker Series” that highlights the stories and perspectives of industry leaders — some that are old friends of the brand, some that are new. Every conversation is insightful, transparent and noteworthy. The inspiration is twofold: one, working for a company that leverages its access and encourages engagement is empowering; two, the opportunity to interact with each guest and learn from their personal experience is rewarding.

FUN FACT ABOUT ME

I’m obsessed with 3D models of architecture.
