Kellie Larsen

Director of Omnichannel and Delivery Operations

Party City

Larsen recently joined Party City, but prior to that she was nominated for her work at Bed Bath & Beyond, where she was Director of Operations – Front End Experience and Omni Fulfillment. Over the past year, Larsen and her team transformed how the company serves its customers, helping the retailer stay relevant and competitive by pivoting to omnichannel fulfillment. She launched BOPIS, curbside pickup, Instacart and same-day delivery, generating more than $1 billion in omni sales in its first year live during a global pandemic. She also served as a cross-functional leader for the company’s internal COVID-19 task force in the successful implementation of safety protocols, testing efforts and safe store reopenings after temporary closings of non-essential businesses mandated by local governments. Larsen also launched self-checkout kiosks during this time, allowing for a contactless and seamless customer checkout experience. Around the office, Larsen is known as a talented manager who always keeps her team members top of mind.

PROUDEST ACHIEVEMENT OF THE PAST YEAR

Helping guide my team through the uncertainties of a global pandemic while continuing to inspire and grow our business together. I am most proud of the incredible team I got to work with each day and helping provide our stores with the support they needed to take care of our customers.

A PIECE OF MEDIA THAT INSPIRED ME RECENTLY

I recently read the book Atomic Habits by James Clear, and it was such an easy way to understand how we can all accomplish so much more each day by focusing on less through forming great habits. It was like a roadmap on how to be your best self each and every day.

FUN FACT ABOUT ME

The brightest spot of each day comes from my sweet senior rescue pup named Lucky. He brings so much happiness and reminds me to be thankful for the little things each day.
