Forte has an extensive portfolio of projects, including the renovation of Chanel’s 57th Street flagship; JBL’s first flagship; PUMA’s Fifth Avenue flagship in New York; the current renovation of Tourneau’s Time Machine flagship on 57th Street in New York; and Chanel’s upcoming boutique in CityCenterDC. She partners with top designers like Peter Marino Architect and MBH Architects to deliver these flagships — often working as a true partner in a design-build collaboration. As a project executive, Forte is responsible for the oversight of the entire office and field team. She feels very strongly about mentoring the next generation of talent, working closely with individuals on both the project management and field teams to build their skillset. Forte is 30-hour OSHA certified, LEED AP BD+C certified, and has her PMP Certification. In her spare time, Forte volunteers for Rocking the Boat and God’s Love We Deliver, and is involved with Professional Women in Construction (PWC).
PROUDEST ACHIEVEMENT OF THE PAST YEAR
I am proud to have led my first all-women project team in the successful completion of the JBL SoHo flagship. From the estimator to the purchaser, the project manager to site superintendent, we were a strong female team that worked through many issues caused by COVID-19 — from permitting delays to fire department backlog — to successfully complete the project in 10 short weeks!

Good Night, Good Night Construction Site is read almost daily at my house (I have two small children). I love the simple yet important messages: work hard each day; teamwork is the key to success; and take care of yourself (rest)! Sometimes the simplest messages are the most inspiring and relevant in life.
FUN FACT ABOUT ME
I was one of only three women who graduated with a degree in Construction Management at The Ohio State University in 2004. It is exciting to now work with so many different women at Shawmut and throughout the industry.
