Wehrle has risen through the ranks of Rite Aid throughout his eight years there, working as a Store Manager and a District Manager before joining the home office. The company was planning a huge rebrand in 2020, but prior to its launch Wehrle introduced and implemented an all-in-one store and field communication solution to ensure a successful rollout. Through his leadership, he was able to effectively simplify and streamline communication tools into Zipline, turning around a full fleet rollout to more than 44,000 users in three months. Wehrle also increased operational efficiencies and created social engagement channels for teams across the country to celebrate together; designed and established a Store Workload Optimization Process; and was instrumental in various initiatives for RiteAid’s RxEvolution rebranding campaign. Through all of this, Wehrle is also credited with leading the store experience through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.
