After graduating with a degree in advertising from the University of Texas, Saffer taught herself coding and website development. At SuitShop, she combined her love of graphic design and development with a passion for retail and branding to create the company’s website (actually revamping it eight times in four years!). While visually appealing and easy to use, Saffer also built custom systems behind the scenes to coordinate wedding groups, send customers free trials, and streamline customer service and operations. Colleagues often approach her to problem-solve and build new systems to afford even more functionality for the website. The SuitShop often coordinates with outside brands, and Saffer frequently collaborates with them and acts as the point person on projects. Saffer’s work to streamline and automate internal operations led to more orders and customers, keeping overhead low. With the rebranding from The Groomsman Suit to SuitShop, Saffer is making the brand more inclusive, and a brand-new website for it is coming soon.
